The world is in crisis. Every single one of us is affected in some way. Businesses are closed, families are being sequestered at home. Only the most essential work is being done.

You might not know that Hosparus Health is one of the few organizations doing essential work. We never stopped providing the compassionate hospice and palliative care the community has come to expect during the COVID-19 pandemic. We can’t stop because our care is too vital. It’s that simple.

As a physician, I understand all too well the incredible sacrifices our frontline workers are making to ensure our patients and families continue to get the very best care possible.

While we’re certainly taking added precautions to keep both our patients and staff safe, as recommended by the CDC, we’re still caring for our patients wherever they call home — in private residences, nursing homes, hospitals and other facilities.

I’m blessed to hear from families all the time about how much our care means to them, but the outpouring of love and gratitude for our caregivers during the current crisis has been overwhelming.

I’m asking you to show YOUR gratitude for our frontline caregivers by making a gift in their honor. Every one of them is a Shining Star, and they are shining brighter than ever during these challenging times.

To show your gratitude, press the ‘Donate Now’ button above, or text CARE2020 to 41444.

Sincerely,

Bethany Cox Snider, MD HMDC FAAHPM
Chief Medical Officer, Hosparus Health

I can not begin to thank my mom’s nurse and social worker while she was at the nursing home.
I am so grateful for the service that Hosparus provides. My mother passed away peacefully and with dignity.

I would just like to tell you about how special your people are! The Hosparus nurse was there for my dad and our family when we were at a loss as to what was going on, and what was going to happen.
The nurse seemed so young to be so great with people who are dying. She was sent to us by a higher power, I’m sure!

My family had the privilege to have the Hosparus team care for my Mamaw the last month of her life. I cannot thank them enough for the gentle, compassionate support they provided, even in the middle of the night in crisis.
They enabled me to keep my promise to keep her out of pain and suffering.
