The holiday season is upon us. This time of family gathering can be especially challenging for those grieving a loss due to death. The addition of the ongoing COVID pandemic further complicates an already difficult time, and forces us to reconsider family traditions.

Hosparus Health Grief Counseling Center invites bereaved adults to gather for topical conversation and sharing as each consider how to keep the season. Each session will address particular aspects of the holiday season and is facilitated by one of our Grief Counselors.

Topics will include:
November 11: Grief and the Holiday Season—Anticipation and Expectations
November 18: Grief and Gratitude—Thoughts on Thanksgiving
December 2: Considering Traditions and Rituals
December 9: Care of Self—Managing Holiday Stress
December 16: Care of Self—A Closer Look at Resilience
December 23: Care of Self—Creating Space for Grief
December 30: Hope for the New Year—Grief Resolutions
January 6: Grief and the New Year—Revisiting Anticipation and Expectations

Join us for one session or all. This series is free and open to the community. Pre-registration is required.
