Dr. McKain is dedicated to providing exemplary care to seriously ill patients and families in Southern Indiana, ensuring they experience the highest quality of life possible. He also works tirelessly to educate the community on the benefits of engaging in hospice and palliative care sooner.
With 40 years of experience, Dr. McKain came to Hosparus Health after a 20 year career in private practice as a family medicine physician. He earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville and is a member of the Greater Louisville Medical Society, the Indiana State Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. He is board certified in both family medicine and hospice and palliative medicine.
