Gwen serves as the leader in Business Development, developing marketing, business and policy opportunities, overseeing all marketing, communications, outreach, volunteers and government affairs for Hosparus Health. She and her teams develop and execute our Hosparus Health brand to educate and maximize exposure to all internal and external audiences in our region; educating our broad communities about how Hosparus Health can help patients live as well as they can for as long as they can.

Gwen has over 25 years of executive and senior management experience with non-profit organizations. Prior to joining Hosparus Health, she served as Vice President, External Affairs at Centerstone (formerly Seven Counties Services), Executive Director for Women 4 Women and President & CEO for Community Health Charities of Florida.

A few of Gwen’s volunteer activities include Health Policy Chair for the Greater Louisville Chamber, participating in the Policy Council and on the Bi-State Issues Committee for GLI, volunteering for Paws with Purpose and working in her local rural community to further economic development. She has a bachelor of arts degree in mass communications and a minor in speech communications from University of South Florida and a master degree in public administration and nonprofit management from Indiana University.

She, her husband Barton and youngest son Caden live on a farm in Southern Indiana. Her oldest son, Clay serves in the US Army National Guard. She enjoys running, hiking, cooking and reading.
