Building On Compassion: Hospice Care Center Update

As construction continues on the new Hosparus Health Hospice Care Center, this long-envisioned space is beginning to take shape for the patients and families who will one day rely on it. Purpose-built to provide around-the-clock hospice care for patients whose symptoms have become too complex to manage at home, the center is being designed to feel more welcoming than clinical. It will feature 21 private patient rooms with ensuite bathrooms, family-friendly spaces, an eat-in kitchen, peaceful gardens and outdoor areas, and a chapel and meditation room.

Located on the same campus as the Harshaw Family Grief Counseling Center, the Hospice Care Center will help create a more seamless experience of care and support for families throughout the end-of-life journey.
