Dealing with the loss of another can be difficult. Many individuals barely pause to feel the loss, while others feel overwhelmed and stuck. The Hosparus Health Resource Center is here to offer hope and comfort to anyone dealing with grief after life-changing loss. Our goal is to provide a welcoming place where everyone in our community can find meaningful support.

Do I have to be a member at the YMCA to attend a Hosparus Health grief session/event/activity?

No.  The Republic Bank Foundation YMCA is a community center in addition to a YMCA.  It houses multiple businesses that support the community including our grief counseling office.

Where is the Hosparus Health space located in the Republic Bank Foundation YMCA?

The Republic Bank Foundation YMCA is located at 1720 West Broadway, Louisville, KY 40203.  The Hosparus Health Grief Counseling Center is located on the 2nd floor at the Republic Bank YMCA.

What age are services intended to help?

Hosparus Health Grief Counseling Center serves children, teens, adults, and families.

How much does counseling or counseling programs cost?

We are committed to creating access and removing barriers to support, regardless of one’s ability to pay. Many of our support groups and educational programs are free to join. Insurance is accepted, and we offer sliding-scale fees with financial support available for those who qualify.
