The new facility will provide support, connection, and mental healing for people of all ages grieving the loss of a loved one.

WHAT: Hosparus Health will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new $4 million, 7,000-square-foot Grief Counseling Center. This fully equipped space will allow the nonprofit organization to extend its grief counseling services to reach hundreds more in the community coping with grief. The Harshaw Family Grief Counseling Center features specially designed rooms for children and teens, art and sand therapy, counseling offices, and group meeting spaces. Once the campus expansion project is complete, surrounding the Center will be an outdoor healing garden with walking paths and meditation elements designed to help clients cope and find peace during their grief journey.

WHEN: Wednesday, May 22, 2024, 10 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony; followed by a community open house with tours of the new facility until noon.
