Hosparus Health names Lynn Fieldhouse as Chief Legal Officer

Lynn Fieldhouse has joined Hosparus Health as Chief Legal Officer (CLO) beginning November 1, 2022. As CLO, she will oversee all legal matters impacting the organization, including corporate transactions, governance, and litigation. Fieldhouse will advise on regulatory matters, enterprise risk prevention and mitigation, and corporate compliance initiatives. She will also work closely with Hosparus CEO David W. Cook on all government relations efforts and will engage in strategic operations designed to increase access to care for seriously ill patients and their families in 41 counties across Kentucky and Indiana.

Fieldhouse brings more than twelve years of in-house counsel experience in the healthcare industry. She most recently served as General Counsel and Chief Litigation-Risk Officer for Signature HealthCARE and its affiliates. Her experience includes developing and managing strategies for clinical risk management and compliance, internal and external high-risk investigations, healthcare policy and legislation, and organizational acquisitions and divestitures. Before shifting her focus solely to healthcare, she worked in private practice, specializing mostly in commercial, healthcare, and employment litigation.

Fieldhouse earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Louisville Law School and holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Bellarmine University. She is a certified nursing assistant and is certified in healthcare compliance by the Health Care Compliance Association. She is a published author and has presented at numerous conferences and seminars, including the American Health Lawyers Association and the American Health Care Association. She serves on the American Health Care Association’s Legal and Regulatory Special Projects Committees, is Vice Chair of the In-House Counsel Committee for the Louisville Bar Association, and is a member of the Executive Committee/Board of Overseers for Bellarmine University.
