Hosparus Health Southern Indiana to Host Free Senior Resource Summit in New Albany
The free June 26 event will connect Southern Indiana older adults, caregivers, and families with trusted aging, legal, and healthcare resources.
NEW ALBANY, Ind. — Hosparus Health, in collaboration with its palliative care service, Pallitus Health Partners, will host the Senior Resource Summit on Friday, June 26, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Northside Christian Church, 4407 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. The free event, presented in partnership with CLLB Law, Louisville Public Media, and Traditions at Hunter Station, will connect older adults, caregivers, and families with local experts and services that support healthy aging and care planning.
“Many families caring for aging loved ones feel isolated and unsure of where to turn for help,” said Shalane Richie, Community Outreach Manager at Hosparus Health Southern Indiana. “The Senior Resource Summit brings dozens of local service providers together under one roof, giving attendees the opportunity to learn about available healthcare, legal, and social support services.”
Event Highlights
The summit will feature breakout sessions led by local experts:
- Hosparus Health & Pallitus Health Partners: Learn about specialized services for people with serious illness, including symptom management and holistic support.
- CLLB Law: Get guidance on senior asset protection, long-term care planning, Medicaid, probate, and VA benefits.
Attendees can also:

“Many caregivers and older adults do not realize how many resources are available to support them,” Richie said. “Our goal is to help families find the services they need to improve quality of life.”
