January Volunteer Training – Central Kentucky

Hosparus Health of Central Kentucky will provide a Patient and Family Support Volunteer training opportunity on Tuesday, January 20, 1:00-5:00 p.m. at our Elizabethtown office. This training is meant for those wishing to provide ongoing respite, companionship and emotional support to the patients and families we serve.
Those who complete the training and other requirements will join a team of more than 50 volunteers serving patients and families in our 5-county service area, including Hardin, Grayson, Larue, Meade and Breckinridge. Volunteers generally serve in the county or general area where they live.
Requirements for this volunteer training include:
- Registration
- Completion of online training modules
Requirements for this volunteer role include:
- A background check, conducted through Hosparus Health.
- Tuberculosis screening and testing.
- Proof of a flu vaccination this Fall – details provided later.
