June Volunteer Training – Louisville
- Hosparus Health Grief Counseling Center Louisville
- Volunteer
Interested in volunteering with Hosparus Health? Join us for a free, in-person volunteer training session to learn how you can support patients and families facing serious illness.
Training sessions will be held on Wednesday, June 17; Wednesday, July 22; and Wednesday, August 12, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 6200 Dutchmans Lane in Louisville.
Ideal for those interested in patient companionship and caregiver respite roles, these volunteer opportunities focus on providing comfort through presence, conversation, and practical support. Volunteers help ease isolation for patients, while giving caregivers valuable time for themselves.
In addition to companionship and respite, we are actively recruiting for volunteers interested in making food deliveries to patients through our Dare to Care partnership, which provides food assistance to hospice and palliative care patients and their families.
No prior experience is required. To get started, please apply at hosparushealth.org/volunteers before attending.
