Dr. Snider joined Hosparus Health in 2013.  As Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Snider is humbled and honored to help guide Hosparus Health through the challenges of a changing healthcare landscape, while keeping the organization’s clinical focus on improving the quality of life for patients and families in 41 counties in Kentucky and Indiana. She is not only a strong advocate for patients, but also for the care teams she leads.

Dr. Snider is a fellow of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. She earned her medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and completed her residency in internal medicine at UK’s Department of Internal Medicine. She completed her hospice and palliative medicine fellowship with UK and Hospice of the Bluegrass. She is board certified in hospice and palliative medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine and is certified as a Hospice Medical Director. Recent recognitions include the University of Louisville Gratis Faculty Teaching Award, Business First of Louisville’s 40 Under 40 and Today’s Woman Magazine’s Most Admired Woman in Healthcare.
