Dr. Earnshaw practices community-based hospice and palliative care and is honored to help lead the expansion of Hosparus Health’s community-based palliative care services, ensuring that seriously ill patients and their families get the compassionate care the deserve sooner. She is also a passionate advocate for increased access to high-quality palliative care through community education and provider training.
A board-certified internist and palliative medicine specialist, Dr. Earnshaw earned her medical degree from Southern Illinois University, and completed her residencies in internal medicine and palliative medicine at the University of Louisville. She started the Palliative Care Program at UofL Hospital and was section chief of palliative medicine, and she is currently associate clinical professor at in the Department of Medicine. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, and was recognized as an Inspiring Hospice and Palliative Medicine Leader Under 40.
