Melissa Merrifield

Melissa leads Hosparus Health’s People Pillar, committed to making Hosparus Health an easy place to join, and a hard place to leave. She oversees critical functions for the organization, including recruiting, employee engagement, compensation, benefits, workers compensation, employee relations, and recordkeeping. She has a passion for serving and supporting caregivers, to help ease their burdens as they give back to patients and families. Prior to joining Hosparus, Melissa served as the Senior Director of Human Resources for Signature Healthcare.

With a decade of experience in healthcare, Melissa, along with the HR Team, are committed to serving the organization with the goal of being an employer of choice in each community that Hosparus Health serves. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Messiah College. Melissa lives in Louisville with her husband, Chris, and their two daughters. She enjoys travelling, reading, and family time.
