Sharon Tankersley

Sharon oversees the financial health and property and facilities of Hosparus Health. She and her team manage the finances of the organization, develop internal controls and create tools to help the board of directors and leadership make sound decisions for the future of Hosparus Health. She is responsible for accounting, reimbursements, budgeting, finance information and communication systems. Sharon also oversees risk management and health information management.

Prior to joining Hosparus, Inc., Sharon has served as the vice president of finance and chief financial officer for Presbyterian Homes and Services of Kentucky.

She has a bachelor of science in accounting from Athens State College, Athens, Ala. and an executive master of business administration from Sullivan University. In 2012, she was named Business First’s CFO of the Year in the large non-profit category.

Sharon enjoys reading, learning, caring for her two miniature dachshunds and shopping.
