Elizabethtown ceremony includes live music, a keepsake ornament activity, and community connection.

Hosparus Health Central Kentucky invites families and friends to attend its annual Service of Remembrance on Sunday, November 16, from 2:15–4:00 p.m. EDT at First Presbyterian Church, 1016 Pear Orchard Road, Elizabethtown, KY. The event offers a meaningful opportunity to celebrate and honor the lives of loved ones who have died within the past year.

The service will include inspirational readings, a memorial ceremony, and live music by the Heartland Harp Ensemble. Guests are welcome to arrive early to participate in a keepsake ornament activity beginning at 2:15 p.m., followed by the memorial service at 3:00 p.m. Families are invited to bring a photo of their loved one, which can be trimmed into a circle and placed inside a provided acrylic ornament. During the service, each family will be invited to hang their ornament on the memory tree, which they may take home afterward as a cherished keepsake.

Light refreshments will be served, and casual attire is encouraged. The event is sponsored by Trowbridge Funeral.

“The Service of Remembrance offers a space where families can come together to share their grief and honor their loved ones in a supportive, compassionate environment,” said Savannah Sooter, LCSW, Grief Counselor at Hosparus Health Central Kentucky. “It’s a beautiful reminder that even as we mourn, we’re surrounded by a community that understands and cares.”

Pre-registration is encouraged by visiting HosparusHealth.org/Grief-Counseling or calling 888-345-8197.
