Dr. Bethany Snider Featured in The New York Times

At Hosparus Health, we hear powerful stories from our patients and families every day. Our Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Bethany Snider, shared some of that wisdom with The New York Times.

She often asks patients: “What have you left undone?” It’s a question we can all ask ourselves. Is there a relationship you want to mend? A dream you’ve put off? A place you’ve always wanted to see?

One of Dr. Snider’s patients, a 17-year-old with advanced liver cancer, had one final wish — to see whales. With our team’s help, she did.

Her message is simple: don’t wait. “Tomorrow is not promised for any of us,” she says.

Our mission-driven organization believes everyone deserves compassionate care, no matter their financial situation. As a nonprofit, we provide expert hospice and palliative services to all who need us, ensuring patients and families can focus on what matters most.
