Hosparus Health Names Becky Tooker as President

Hosparus Health, one of the nation’s largest nonprofit providers of hospice and serious illness care, has named Becky Tooker as President, effective April 6. Tooker brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in hospice, home health and post-acute care and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
Most recently Tooker served in a senior leadership role with St. Croix Hospice, where she oversees statewide operations including clinical quality, regulatory compliance and performance improvement. She previously served as Regional President for Traditions Health in Texas, leading multiple hospice and home health locations while supporting strategic growth across the region.
“Becky brings a thoughtful leadership approach and a deep understanding of hospice care,” said Stephanie Livers, chair of the Hosparus Health Board of Directors. “Her experience supporting strong care teams and guiding growing organizations makes her the right leader to help Hosparus Health continue serving patients and families across our region.”
David W. Cook, CEO of Hosparus Health, said he looks forward to partnering with Tooker as the organization continues expanding services for patients and families across Kentucky and Southern Indiana.

Tooker began her career as a nurse and has hands-on experience caring for pediatric hospice patients. She says that background continues to shape her leadership philosophy.
“I’m honored to join an organization with such a strong legacy of caring for patients and families during life’s most meaningful moments,” Tooker said. “Hospice care is deeply personal work, and I believe in leading with empathy, respect and a commitment to excellence so every patient and family receives the support they deserve.”
Tooker earned her nursing degree from Spencerian College and later completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in healthcare management from Capella University. She also held certification as a Hospice and Palliative Care Administrator.
As President, Tooker will work closely with clinical and operational leaders to continue strengthening services for patients and families facing serious illness across Kentucky and Southern Indiana. Hosparus Health provides hospice care, palliative medicine, grief counseling and specialized programs, including the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), designed to support individuals and caregivers throughout the aging and serious illness journey.
